Pantai losari, merupakan ikon keindahan kota Makassar. Kota Makasar terletak di tepi pantai menghadap ke Barat, memiliki garis pantai yang sangat panjang. Pantai-pantai ini sangat strategis, dilihat dari beberapa sudut.
Garis pantai kota Makassar yang sangat panjang mulai dari Pelabuhan Paotere (pusat pelabuhan ikan), pelabuhan Makassar, benteng Rotterdam, Pantai Losari, Tanjung Bayam, Tanjung Bunga, dan pantai-pantai setelahnya yang terletak diluar kota Makassar. Garis pantai ini bisa dilalui dengan kendaraan, karena sudah ada jalan yang menghubungkan garis pantai yang panjang tersebut.
Sejak zaman dulu, Pemerintah Kolonial Belanda membangun benteng yang berada di garis pantai ini. Misalnya benteng Rotterdam (terletak sekitar 400 meter dari pantai losari).
Benteng ini dulunya merupakan salah satu benteng terkuat Belanda yang ada di Pulau Sulawesi. Di Benteng inilah, pahlawan nasional, Pangeran di Ponegoro di tawan hingga meninggal di kota Makasar.
Sampai saat ini, benteng ini masih terawat baik, dan merupakan sebuah tempat wisata sejarah. Didepan benteng sekarang sudah dibuat jalan yang menghubungkan antara pantai losari dengan jalan menuju pelabuhan Makassar. Jadi benteng ini tidak lagi langsung berhadapan dengan laut, seperti pada zaman belanda, tetapi sudah ada penimbunan, dan sebuah taman di depan benteng yang juga menghadap kelaut. Taman ini cukup indah.

dugaan skandal perpajakan
dugaan skandal perpajakan yang baru ini tidak hanya melibatkan DA, pegawai di Direktorat Keberatan dan Banding Ditjen Pajak. Dikabarkan DA terbelit kasus ini bersama suaminya DW yang bertugas di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) Kantor Besar Gambir (Large Tax Office). Saat ini DW telah pindah bekerja ke Dinas Pendapatan Daerah (Dispenda) DKI Jakarta sejak 2 Januari 2012.
Kasus ini terkait dengan penemuan laporan Pusat Pelaporan dan Analisis Transaksi Keuangan (PPATK) yang telah diserahkan ke Kejaksaan Agung. DA diduga memiliki simpanan di 18 bank dengan jumlah di luar kepatutan. Satu kali transfer yang masuk ke rekening DA misalnya sebanyak 250.000 dollar AS.
Juru Bicara Ditjen Pajak Deddi Rudaedi tidak membantah penyitaan dokumen ini. Namun, Deddi belum dapat menanggapi kabar ini karena masih berkoordinasi dengan Direktur Jenderal Pajak Fuad Rahmany sebagai pemimpinnya. "Tunggu dulu, saya mau menghadap Pak Dirjen dulu, nanti saya jelaskan," terang Deddi.

Harga BBM naik
Harga BBM Naik! - Hari Rabu, harga minyak mentah di Singapura untuk penyerahan April mencapai 106 dollar AS per barrel. Sementara harga minyak mentah Indonesia (ICP) sudah di atas 110 dollar AS, di atas asumsi makro APBN 2012, yakni 90 dollar AS per barrel. Presiden mengakui, kenaikan harga minyak mentah yang tinggi membuat Indonesia terpukul.
"Kita harus meresponsnya dan mengembangkan berbagai opsi serta kebijakan dengan tujuan menyelamatkan perekonomian, APBN dan kondisi fiskal," tutur Presiden.
Walau harga BBM naik, Presiden menegaskan bahwa konversi penggunaan BBM bersubsidi menuju bahan bakar gas (BBG) tetap dilakukan karena akan memberi manfaat besar pada jangka panjang. "Bagaimanapun, untuk jangka menengah dan panjang, konversi dari BBM ke BBG terus kita lakukan," ujarnya.
Pembatasan BBM bersubsidi dijadwalkan pada 1 April 2012. Ada tiga opsi yang disiapkan pemerintah, yakni menaikkan harga BBM bersubsidi, mengalihkan penggunaan BBM ke BBG, dan mengharuskan mobil pribadi memakai BBM nonsubsidi, seperti pertamax.

Dibangun tahun 1400 setelah masehi, kota suku Inka ini berada diketinggian 2400 meter dari permukaan laut, terletak di atas bukit Urubamba, Peru. Machu Picchu kerap disebut sebagai ‘Kota Inka yang Hilang’ karena ditinggalkan oleh penduduknya. Video Editing – Uploading
How do you upload videos to the computer? With the right video editing program, you can upload the videos from YouTube, the webcam, and your home videos to the computer. In video editing, almost all the space in the computer is occupied by the video files. It would be best if you have today’s modern computers.

If your computer doesn’t have the WMM, you can download it for free by simply searching for the program online and get the latest version.
Start capturing the video to the program you’re using. If you are using a converter, make sure that a box will appear which shows the device option. Double check the audio to ensure that the program is also capturing it.
You will notice many screens where you are asked to label clips and where to file it. Saving the file is important so that you won’t save too much video on the hard drive, you can use the ‘My Videos’ initially but as you work on more projects, make sure that you create specific filenames.
You will also be asked of the format that you prefer for the videos. The most common formats are WMV and DV AVI; these formats save space and the latter is much preferred by videographers. Once the format is chosen, hit the button ‘Start Capture’.
After uploading all the videos, stop the capturing process. The clips will be loaded in collections. Play the clips and drag the ones that you want to edit to the timeline. If you can’t find the files you’ve saved on the hard drive, you can find them by going to My Computer, and then click on My Documents. Click on My Videos and select ‘Views’ on the menu bar. Click ‘details’ and then click ‘date modified’. The last edited video clips will be shown.

Sekali waktu tiada salahnya Anda berlibur ke luar negeri bersama keluarga, sahabat, atau orang-orang tersayang. Turki mungkin dapat menjadi alternatif negara tujuan wisata. Mulai dari wisata pantai, bangunan kuno, hingga peninggalan bernilai sejarah tinggi. Dengan kata lain, setiap daerah di Turki mempunyai keunikan berbeda.
Aphrodisias misalnya, salah satu kota tua di Turki itu merupakan peninggalan era Helenis yang dikenal sebagai kota suci. Pasalnya, kota ini memiliki sebuah bangunan suci untuk persembahan Dewi Aphrodite atau Dewi Kecantikan.
Di Aphrodias juga terdapat sebuah bangunan tempat bertarung para gladiator. Setiap pria setempat saling beradu mempertahankan harga diri dan menunjukkan yang terkuat kepada Sang Dewi. Pertarungan yang disaksikan sekitar 30.000 penonton itu akan berhenti jika seorang gladiator tewas di tangan lawannya.
Kota eksotis lainnya adalah Herapolis yang merupakan kota suci peninggalan zaman Romawi abad ke dua sebelum Masehi. Di kota ini tampak berdiri kokoh sejumlah kuil yang dibangun bangsa Romawi. Selain itu, pengunjung dapat menyaksikan puluhan sarkofagus dan nekropolis. Keduanya merupakan peti mayat yang terbuat dari batu. Herapolis dikenal juga mempunyai bangunan teater dan sekolah filosofis.
Wilayah yang tak kalah menarik di Turki adalah provinsi Denizli yang berarti laut. Provinsi ini dikenal sebagai penghasil kapas terbesar sehingga didirikan pabrik tekstil. Di tempat ini terdapat sebuah bukit bernama Pamukale. Bukit ini berwarna putih seperti kapas yang memang asal kata Pamukale. Objek wisata favorit di Pamukale adalah pemandian air panas. Airnya mengandung kalsium dan mineral yang sangat tinggi sehingga dipercaya menyembuhkan rematik.
Mengunjungi Turki, tak lengkap jika belum menyinggahi Provinsi Antalia. Wilayah ini kaya dengan pantai-pantai yang indah. Bahkan, di provinsi ini terdapat air terjun yang langsung menuju laut. Pemandangan indah di sekitar air terjun membuat Anda bisa sejenak melupakan kepenatan.

Video Editing with Movie Maker
The Windows Movie Maker is already built in PCs with of course, the Windows Operating System. So even if you don’t download any video editing software, you’re already equipped with good quality editing tools. When you capture videos from your camera or camcorders whenever there is a special event, your videos often have ‘junk’ portions.
These junk portions should be eliminated if you want to create professional-grade videos or movies from the comfort of your home. Home movies are mostly boring because most of the materials are not very interesting. Well, one way to create interesting videos is by editing the raw footage using the Movie Maker.
Newbies often use the zooming function when capturing videos. Your audience will feel sea-sick if you do a lot of zooming so try to minimize the use of this function to framing shots only. You’re in luck because through WMM, you can easily edit the zooming scenes in your raw footages.
When filming a family member or a narrator, you will often video the part when they say ‘am I on?’ or ‘should I speak now?’; don’t worry because you can now easily take that part out.
So how do you get rid of these junk shots?
When transferring videos from the camcorder or any other gadget to your computer, WMM will ask you if you want to manually capture the video; through this option, you can easily decide which sections should be transferred to the computer. This is also one way f saving disk space. There is also the option for capturing 100% of the video but you will seldom use this option since amateur videos does contain lots of junk material.
With WMM, you can also cut the video in half. You can do this on the timeline or on the preview monitor. Find the exact location that contains all the junk and cut it. However, you must be organized at all times; otherwise, you can have a large collection of clips that will be very hard to work on.
Each video clip has its own ins and outs. Drag ends of the video clips to the correct point to accurately trim the clip ends.
With editing software like WMM, it’s really easy to get rid of all the junks. Even if you captured a 2-hour video, you can still reduce its size by editing and removing the unwanted parts.
You can even add video effects to your home videos with WMM. You can’t possibly use all the effects at the same time. You can adjust the brightness of the video. For instance, if the video was taken indoors, there are times when the video looks too dark. You can easily brighten the scene by adjusting the brightness effects. By using the sepia tone and grayscale effects, color is automatically removed and the video will have an old photo look. For classy effects, you can use the de-saturating effects. Flashback and dream sequences effects can also be achieved.
If you want to create comedy movies or videos, you can use the speed up or slow down effects. Not all the effects are useful so choose only the right ones; don’t exaggerate the effects because the output will not look realistic.
