10 Secrets To Increase Your Website Conversion Rate

According to the so-called experts, a decent conversion ratio is right around one percent. In other words, one out of every hundred visitors to your website converts to sales.
Personally, I think you should ignore what the experts say, and strive to achieve the highest possible conversion rate. You should never feel satisfied. You should always look for ways to improve your conversion ratio. My website consistently converts anywhere from 3 to 5 percent, and often change as high as ten percent!
Unless you're selling big-ticket items and make £ 200 or more per sale, it is very difficult to make real money with only a one percent conversion ratio.
Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, and if your website attracts hundreds or even thousands of visitors per day, then obviously you can do quite well with one percent or lower conversion ratio.
But what if you do not have the kind of traffic - and most sites do not. Then what? What if you sell £ 20 e-book and you just draw a hundred visitors per day to your website? With a one percent conversion ratio, which means your website is up 20 pounds is very little a day.And believe me, that I was much more common than you realize.
However, what if you can improve your conversion ratio to 3 percent, 5 percent, of a sudden, you make £ 60 to £ 100 a day for the same amount of traffic. Improve your conversion ratio to ten percent and the violin, which is £ 100 a day turned into a £ 200 a day!
So, how do you go about improving your website conversion rate? Here are some tips that will help:
A. Make sure your visitors know what you do, the instant they land on your website. Do not make them have to guess. Tell them right in front of a benefit-laden headline.
2. Make sure your website design is up to par, make it easier to navigate. Get rid of annoying flash or stupid, the graphics are meant to waste everybody's time and take forever to load, Simplify your website. Get rid of flash, graphics and pop-ups!
3. Use color effectively psychologically. The blue color shows the quality, trustworthiness, success, seriousness, calmness - the perfect choice for sales pages. Avoid purple, which connotes uncertainty and ambiguity, and only use yellow to highlight key words and phrases. Also, try to have as much white space as possible. This makes for much cleaner looking, easier to read website.
4. Get your own domain name. URL that contains names like, "Geocities", "Angelfire" or "Tripod" have amateur written all over them.
5. Prove what you say. Back up your claims with cold, hard, indisputable facts and verifiable
6. Enter your name, phone number and street address on your website
7. Use authentic customer testimonials, complete with first and last name. Make sure you get your customers permission first.
8. Offer a money-back guarantee fair and reasonable.Thirty days is good. Sixty or ninety days better!
9. Make it easy for your customers to pay. And offers a variety of payment options. I can assure you, if you use PayPal, you lose sales. There are many people out there, me included, and will not do business with PayPal.This is too much trouble!
10. And last but not least, make sure you have a strong sales letter. A powerful sales letter and your income can effectively blast into the upper stratosphere!
